This week we will complete the final session of the Region 9 Ambassador program. We are providing a series of three classes each two hours long to create more awareness of Region 9, our programs, and services among a broader representation of our staff. We cover topics like Region 9 history, funding, our organizational framework, and departmental job requirements. We talk about who our member districts are and provide opportunities for participants to network with staff from different departments. We have tied activities around customer service to True Colors, providing an opportunity for a book study. The R9 Ambassador program is another way we are investing in our future by building knowledge and capacity in our employees.
