Welcome back to all Region 9 employees as you return to work for a new year.
As you look at our simple Mission Statement above, the last few months have shown how appropriate it is. Our community has suffered from catastrophic fires and flooding. Both have created tremendous anxiety, disruption, and trauma in our community.
So now is the time we begin to live our Mission. Educating, Supporting, and Serving. Each department at Region 9 is heavily embedded in our community. Each of you has proven to have the resiliency to endure hardships, the faith to overcome obstacles, and the commitment to work and support your programs.
I challenge each of you to help our community heal from the disruption the fires and flooding have caused. Have a positive impact on everyone you come in contact with, do something extra for those that need your help the most. Together we will have a great year!
