To-Done List

The other day I was sharing some ideas/thoughts with a person I highly respect as an individual and a leader. One of the things I talked about was the importance of a “To-Done” list. (I borrowed this from Noom). I think it is so important with our long “to-do” lists and our ever-changing demands that we take time to also write down the “To Done” lists. Take a moment to reflect on all the tasks we have completed this last week. Truly, take five minutes to just jot down all the things that you accomplished as a leader in one week’s time. Then, give yourself a “high five”. I have always known that R9 does far more across educational communities that one can imagine. The breadth of those supports goes from birth to adulthood and impact at the individual, family, school, community, and statewide level. R9 is an incredibly efficient organization that maximizes resources and talents in a way that is hard to describe until you have had the honor of being a part of the agency. So, when you get to feeling like the “to-do” list is overflowing, be sure and stop and look at your “to-done” list as well. It is a pretty impressive list, isn’t it?
